Voice
Clear, characterful voice work for stories, explanations and messages that need to be heard.
Overview
A voice changes how a message lands. The same words can feel warm, direct, reassuring or full of energy depending on how they’re delivered. I work with you to understand who’s listening and what the recording needs to do.
The brief might be an audiobook, an advert, a piece of learning content or a voiceover for a video. We’ll look at the script, tone, length and where it will be used before agreeing the work. If the words need attention first, scripting can be part of that conversation.
- Audiobook and long-form narration.
- Voiceovers for video and learning content.
- Marketing, sales and radio advertising scripts and recordings.
- Tone, pacing and delivery shaped around the audience.
Why I’m a good fit
I bring the same curiosity to voice work that I bring to a website or a design brief. I want to understand the idea well enough to communicate it clearly, including the words or details that might be unfamiliar to the audience.
Working across websites, creative content and business tools helps me think about where a recording belongs in the wider experience. A product explanation, a sales message and a story need different things from their delivery.
You can talk directly to me about the script and the sound you have in mind. We’ll agree the style, pronunciation, usage and delivery needs before recording, so there’s a clear brief to work from.
FAQs
Can you help with the script?
Yes. Scripting can be included in the scope, particularly for marketing, sales and advertising work. If you already have a script, we can review it for spoken delivery before recording.
Can I hear an example before booking?
Tell me what you’re making, who it’s for and the style you have in mind. We can discuss a suitable example and what you need to hear before agreeing the project.
How are longer recordings estimated?
The script length, style and editing requirements all affect the time. The audio examples on the pricing page refer to finished audio length. I’ll quote against your actual brief.
What do you need from me?
The script or outline, intended audience, where the recording will be used and any reference for tone. Pronunciation notes, deadlines and required file formats are useful too. We’ll agree revisions as part of the scope.
